iECHO makes it easy for you to create a new ECHO program. Simply follow the below steps:
Creating a Program
A Hub owner or admin can create a new program. Follow the below steps:

Visit the program page for your Hub by clicking on View More
next to Programs I Manage on the iECHO home page

Click on Create Program

You will be prompted to create a new ECHO program and will be required to provide the following information:
- Program Banner Image: A descriptive image that would help communicate your program to the audience. Please note: it is good to refer to ECHO Brand Standards when creating images, particularly concerning logo usage.
- Program Name: A descriptive name that will serve as the identity of your program. You must include the word ECHO (in capitals) as part of the program name. Please note, you will not be able to edit the program name later, so please select your name carefully.
- Focus Areas: Select the topics/focus areas for your program from our taxonomy. In case you are unable to find a suitable focus area from the list, select Other.
Selecting the right focus area
- Description: The program description should cover the following:
- Program Overview: Here describe your program’s overall objective and strategy in brief. It should always link back to About the ECHO Model if the ECHO Model is being used. This should not exceed more than 100 words. Also, avoid any technical jargon.
- Topics covered: Here the program curriculum should be briefly mentioned.
- Target Audience for the program: Here up to six professional groups should be listed so prospective participants can understand the intended audience for the program.
- Certification & Credits: Here details about whether and how your program would issue certificates and other continuing education credits to your participants should be mentioned.
- Contact Information: Please include the contact information of individuals who prospective participants can reach out to. It is highly recommended to provide an email address for ease of communication.
- Accreditation Information: Here mention any details around the accreditation authority and process that would be relevant for the participants

- Certification: Check this box if you would like to issue a certificate to your participants at the end of the program
- Restrict access to only invited participants: Switch on the toggle in case you would like to make your program private. Leave this option as it is if you’d like to create a public program. Learn more about program visibility here →

Editing a Program
Hub owners and Hub admins can edit the program’s name, focus area and description, change the type of program, and certificate issuance capabilities.
To edit a program follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Click on the View More option under ‘ Programs I manage’
- Select the program you want to edit, and click on the edit button
